Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and timely payment
Review, code, and match invoices to purchase orders (3-way matching)
Resolve invoice discrepancies and follow up with vendors as needed
Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers
Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9 documentation and payment history
Reconcile vendor statements and accounts to ensure accuracy
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices and payment status
Assist with month-end close, reporting, and account reconciliations
Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation
Support audit requests and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
Experience with full-cycle AP processing and high-volume invoice management
Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables preferred)
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with vendors and internal teams
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience with month-end close and reconciliations
Background in a high-volume or multi-entity environment

Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
