Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong attention to detail.


Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and timely payment

  • Review, code, and match invoices to purchase orders (3-way matching)

  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and follow up with vendors as needed

  • Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers

  • Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9 documentation and payment history

  • Reconcile vendor statements and accounts to ensure accuracy

  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices and payment status

  • Assist with month-end close, reporting, and account reconciliations

  • Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation

  • Support audit requests and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience

  • Experience with full-cycle AP processing and high-volume invoice management

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes

  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables preferred)

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with vendors and internal teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Experience with month-end close and reconciliations

  • Background in a high-volume or multi-entity environment

Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
