LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a growing corporate office in Mesa, AZ that is looking for a Full-Time onsite Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a Monday through Friday position $25.00-$28.00 per hour depending on prior experience. 

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and supporting the accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable functions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Match invoices to purchase orders
  • Review invoices for approval, and correct coding
  • Prepare and process weekly check deposits, ACH, and wire payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements 
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies 
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries
  • Assist with month-end closing activities
  • Perform additional accounting or administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 
  • 2+ years of recent accounts payable experience 
  • Strong data entry and 10-Key skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with accounting or ERP system
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
