Accounts Payable Specialist

 LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a community‑focused organization in Oakland, CA to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary opportunity. This role supports a collaborative accounting team and offers a hybrid schedule, blending flexibility with meaningful work that supports the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan, review, and process a high volume of vendor invoices

  • Code invoices accurately within the ERP system

  • Assist with regular check runs and payment processing

  • Set up and maintain new vendor accounts

  • Review vendor statements and help resolve discrepancies

  • Process and audit employee expense reports

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of high‑volume Accounts Payable experience

  • Experience working within an ERP system

  • Hands‑on experience processing expense reports

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

  • Team‑oriented approach with a positive, reliable work style

Pay for the role is per hour and depends on experience.  The pay range will be $27.00 to $30.50 per hour.
