Accounts Payable Specialist
Contract-to-Hire | Up to $26/hour
Manufacturing / Construction Environment

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a fast‑paced manufacturing or construction organization on a contract‑to‑hire basis. This role requires strong AP fundamentals, experience with SAP or similar AP systems, and the ability to manage high‑volume invoice processing accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process high‑volume accounts payable invoices accurately and timely

  • Perform 2‑way and 3‑way invoice matching (PO, invoice, receiving)

  • Utilize SAP or other AP/accounting software for invoice entry and payment processing

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies

  • Prepare weekly check runs and ACH payments

  • Maintain organized AP records and ensure compliance with internal controls

  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payment status

  • Support month‑end close activities related to AP

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience

  • Hands‑on experience with SAP or other AP/accounting software (Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, etc.)

  • Experience in manufacturing or construction environments strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of AP processes and internal controls

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred

  • Experience with high‑volume AP

  • Knowledge of job costing or project‑based accounting

  • Prior contract or contract‑to‑hire experience

Compensation & Details

  • Up to $26/hour, depending on experience

  • Contract‑to‑hire opportunity

  • Full benefits eligibility upon conversion



Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
