A well-established client in Sandy Springs is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. This role is essential in ensuring vendor payments are processed accurately and on time, while maintaining clean and compliant financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Invoice Management

  • Enter and validate invoices with precision using the company’s accounting software.

  • Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely approvals.

  • Assist with other finance-related tasks as needed.

Vendor Relations

  • Serve as the go-to contact for vendor payment questions.

  • Foster strong relationships through clear and professional communication.

  • Reconcile vendor accounts and maintain up-to-date records.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Adhere to internal financial procedures and external regulations.

  • Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation for all payable transactions.

 

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.

  • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry.

  • Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities independently and within a team.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
