Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Onsite – Seattle
Pay Rate: $28–$34 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing finance team in Seattle. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices while maintaining strong internal controls. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience working with high invoice volumes, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency

  • Perform three-way matching between invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation

  • Manage weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with vendor onboarding

  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account details

  • Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

  • Support audit requests and maintain organized AP documentation

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding and approvals

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience

  • Experience processing high volumes of invoices

  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles

  • Proficiency in accounting or ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work onsite in Seattle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated AP systems or OCR invoice processing

  • Experience working in a mid-size or growing organization

  • Knowledge of expense management platforms (Concur, Expensify, etc.)
