Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is responsible for managing the company’s outgoing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely processing of invoices. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working with deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The anticipated pay range for this role is between $29-$32 an hour.
Responsibilities:
· Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
· Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
· Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments (ACH, wire, checks)
· Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies
· Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
· Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships
· Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting
· Ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements
· Support continuous improvement of AP processes and systems
Qualifications:
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
· 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
· Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· Effective communication and problem-solving abilities

Pay Details: $29.00 to $32.00 per hour
