Position Overview

The Accounts Payable Supervisor, Hybrid will lead the day-to-day AP operations across multiple manufacturing locations. This role is responsible for overseeing invoice processing, ensuring timely payments, supporting audits, and driving process improvements while managing and developing a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor AP team members, including workload distribution and performance management

  • Oversee full-cycle accounts payable across multiple locations

  • Manage high-volume invoice processing, 3-way matching, and coding accuracy

  • Coordinate weekly payment runs (ACH, wire, checks)

  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments and resolve escalations

  • Review and reconcile AP accounts, vendor statements, and aging reports

  • Support month-end close and audit requests

  • Partner with plant controllers, procurement, and finance teams across sites

  • Maintain and improve AP processes, controls, and efficiency initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

  • Assist with coverage during high-volume periods or team absences

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of accounts payable experience (manufacturing environment required)

  • 1–3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience

  • Multi-site AP experience required

  • Strong understanding of full-cycle AP processes and internal controls

  • Experience with large ERP systems (SAP, QAD, Oracle, etc.)

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting audits (internal and external)

  • Process improvement mindset with ability to streamline workflows

  • Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration



Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
