Accounts Receivable Associate

Location: St. Paul, MN | Hybrid

Pay Range: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience

Job Description

LHH is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate for a contract opportunity with a client in St. Paul, Minnesota. This hybrid position will support day-to-day accounts receivable functions, including cash application, billing, collections, account reconciliation, and maintenance of accurate customer records.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply customer payments accurately and timely

• Prepare and distribute customer invoices

• Monitor aging reports and outstanding balances

• Follow up with customers regarding past-due accounts

• Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies

• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate AR records

• Process credit memos, adjustments, and account corrections

• Assist with cash application and daily deposits

• Support month-end close and AR reconciliations

• Work with internal departments to resolve account issues

• Assist with additional accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related accounting experience preferred

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines

Compensation

Starting pay range: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
