Accounts Receivable/Collections Clerk
Location: El Monte
Paying: $23-25/hour, based on experience
Contract to Hire

Position Summary
We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable and Collections Clerk to assist with variety office tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-focused, dependable, and enjoys working in both financial and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable by contacting customers regarding outstanding balances, researching payment issues, posting customer payments, and processing credit card transactions.

  • Prepare and record daily bank deposits accurately.

  • Provide office support such as scanning, copying, filing, and managing email correspondence.

  • Work closely with customers and internal staff to resolve billing questions and maintain positive relationships.

  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality when handling financial and client information.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections.

  • Comfortable with computer systems and accurate in data entry.

  • Strong organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail.

  • Professional communication skills and the ability to multitask.

  • Dependable and able to work well both independently and in a team setting.

 

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hours per week)



Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
