LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company in Suffolk County to fill an Accounts Receivable Specialist Opportunity. This is a Direct Hire position and will pay $30 an hour. Onsite Monday-Friday.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

·       Monitoring overdue accounts

·       Collecting unpaid invoices

·       Customer communication regarding payments

·       Issuing credits (when approved)

·       Applying payments and preparing bank deposits

·       Investigating short payments

·       Reporting collection activity and AR status

·       This suggests a standard AR workflow involving invoice tracking, payment application, and collections.

 

Qualifications:

·       Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

·       2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting

·       Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel

·       Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

·       Excellent communication and customer service abilities

·       Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

 

Preferred Skills:

·       Experience with ERP systems

·       Attention detail

·       Work in a fast – paced environment
