Lead Accounts Receivable
Overview
The Lead Accounts Receivable professional supports billing and collections while providing day‑to‑day guidance to the AR team. This is a hands‑on role that balances individual contributor work with team oversight, accuracy, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Single Family builders and service customers
Submit billing through GC platforms (Supply Pro, AIA, Textura, or similar)
Apply cash, reconcile accounts, and manage collections
Support and review AR team work for accuracy and timeliness
Serve as escalation point and assist with training and onboarding
Identify and implement process improvements
Support month‑end close, audits, and documentation requests
Assist with W‑9s, COIs, customer setup, and filings as needed
Qualifications
4+ years of accounts receivable or billing experience
2+ years of team lead or supervisory experience
Construction billing experience required
Strong knowledge of AR and collections processes
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
ERP experience (e.g., Great Plains) preferred
Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills
Leadership Competencies
Leads by example with accuracy and accountability
Provides clear direction and constructive feedback
Balances personal workload with team support
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
