Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $25–$28 per hour
Overview:
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support daily invoicing, payment application, and customer account management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, maintains strong accuracy with high-volume transactions, and communicates professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Generate and submit customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Review backup documentation and ensure billing requirements are met
• Manage AR aging and follow up on outstanding balances
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues
• Communicate with customers regarding invoice status, payment schedules, and documentation needs
• Prepare reports for aging, cash receipts, and month-end AR metrics
• Collaborate with sales, collections, and accounting teams as needed
• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company procedures
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Collections
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high‑volume environment
• Proficiency with ERP or invoicing systems (OpenInvoice, Ariba, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar preferred)
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Intermediate Excel skills preferred
