Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Collections Specialist to join a growing organization that is continuing to expand its operations and invest in its team. This role offers the opportunity to step into a high-impact position where you will have visibility across multiple departments and play a key role in supporting continued growth.

This is not a task-based collections position. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, strong ownership of accounts, and the ability to think critically to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts and take ownership of resolving outstanding balances

  • Proactively contact customers to drive timely payment and maintain account health

  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes

  • Partner with internal teams to address account issues and improve processes

  • Review aging reports and prioritize accounts based on risk and timing

  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of account activity

  • Contribute ideas to improve collections strategies and overall efficiency

What Makes This Role Different:

  • Opportunity to join a company experiencing continued growth and expansion

  • High visibility across finance, operations, and leadership teams

  • Ability to take ownership and influence outcomes—not just follow a process

  • Collaborative, team-oriented environment

  • Emphasis on problem-solving and relationship management rather than scripted collections

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of collections, accounts receivable, or related experience

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate payment conversations confidently

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts effectively

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work through complex situations

  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-up skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

Key Profile:

  • Self-starter who takes ownership of their work

  • Comfortable picking up the phone and building relationships

  • Collaborative and team-oriented

  • Resourceful and solutions-focused

  • Interested in long-term growth and development within an organization

Additional Notes:

  • This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a stable, expanding company

  • Not a dialer environment—success is driven by initiative and accountability
