Accounts Receivable Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounts Receivable Specialist job opportunity for the corporate office located in Oakland, CA. This position is hybrid and will be required to be in-office 2 days a week! The ideal candidate will have CPG (consumer packaged goods) industry exposure and be experienced in billing, credit, collections, and trade deductions. The role will be responsible for handling a global portfolio of retailers, managing cash flow, preparing and accurate P&L by managing accruals, research and reconcile customer deductions, collaborate with sales and management to drive payment resolution, present monthly results to sales including AR aging, approval decisions, and resolution items, provide analytical support to finance, participate in the close (GL reconciliations, journal entries and reporting), and assist on projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience in Accounts Receivable (Credit & Collections & Billing)
- Trade Deduction experience would be helpful
- Industry experience in consumer packaged goods is preferred
- Proficient computer/technical skills (Outlook, Word, & Excel)
- Software experience with NetSuite would be preferred
- Excellent communications (verbal & written)
- Detailed, accurate, and organized
- Team player, a positive attitude, and coachable
- Reliable, dedicated, and quick to learn
Experience: 5 years of Accounts Receivable experience (Accounts Receivable Specialist, Revenue Analyst, Revenue Accountant, Trade Deductions Specialist, Credit & Collections)
