Accounts Receivable Specialist (Temp)

Temporary Assignment
A reputable organization in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support their accounting team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for an AR professional who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and has strong attention to detail, collections, and payment reconciliation experience.
As a third party recruiter, we are partnering with a confidential client that values accuracy, collaboration, and efficiency within their finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day to day accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and payment posting
Apply and reconcile payments, resolve discrepancies, and research unapplied cash
Follow up on outstanding balances and support light collections efforts
Prepare and maintain AR aging reports and account documentation
Communicate professionally with internal teams and external customers regarding billing inquiries
Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
Assist with additional accounting or administrative tasks as needed during the assignment
Qualifications
1–3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounting support
Strong understanding of billing, payment application, and AR aging
Proficiency with Excel and accounting or ERP systems
High attention to detail with strong organizational and time?management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a temporary role
Professional written and verbal communication skills
