Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist
Location: Tacoma, WA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $30–$35 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team in Tacoma, WA. This role is responsible for managing the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate billing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in handling AR processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections

  • Prepare and send invoices accurately and in a timely manner

  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are received according to company terms

  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies

  • Process credit memos, adjustments, and write-offs as needed

  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve payment issues and inquiries

  • Maintain accurate AR records in the accounting system

  • Generate AR reports for management and assist with month-end close processes

  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports

Qualifications:

  • 2–4+ years of experience in accounts receivable or finance roles

  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, billing, and collections

  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work onsite in Tacoma, WA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, or service-based industries

  • Knowledge of multi-entity or multi-location AR processes

  • Ability to support month-end and year-end financial reporting
