Accounts Receivable Specialist (Contract)
Location: Cleveland, OH
Job Type: Contract (3–4 months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: $20–$25/hour DOE
Job Summary
We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a short-term contract opportunity supporting a busy accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, handle high-volume transactions, and keep AR operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Process and apply payments (ACH, wires, credit cards, checks)
- Perform cash application and AR data entry
- Assist with account reconciliations and reporting
- Support internal teams with billing and payment inquiries
- Scan and manage financial documents
- Provide general support to the accounting department
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Experience with high-volume invoicing or transactions
- Strong Excel skills (data entry, basic reporting, spreadsheets)
- ERP system experience (Oracle or similar preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Requirements
- Able to start quickly and work independently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, short-term role
- Strong communication and teamwork skill.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
