Administrative Assistant

LHH is actively seeking an Administrative Assistant for one of our top clients in Hattiesburg! This will be a contract to perm opportunity with our client and will be 100% onsite at their office in Hattiesburg.
Position Summary
This role provides administrative and operational support across multiple departments through standardized processes and firm systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support by managing and resolving centralized support tickets
Assist cross-functional administrative teams, offices, and national or regional groups, including support for e-filing processes within tax administration
Coordinate meetings by scheduling, managing calendars, reserving meeting spaces, and arranging catering and setup
Support invoice processing by obtaining coding and approvals, and accurately preparing client invoices based on management input
Assist with office-related memberships, licenses, and vendor documentation
Support new hire onboarding and employee offboarding activities
Partner with management to onboard new clients and maintain accurate client records
Prepare and format a variety of documents, including correspondence, reports, presentations, and confidential materials
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience required
Experience in a professional services environment preferred
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong grammar and professionalism
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Strong customer service mindset with professionalism and diplomacy
Proven organizational and multitasking abilities
Proactive approach to improving processes and workflows
Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and external clients
Team-oriented with a willingness to support others as needed
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
