Administrative Assistant (Hybrid After Training) – Contract | $22–$25/hr

LHH is urgently hiring an experienced Administrative Assistant to support a Project Manager for one of our clients located on the southeast side of Indianapolis. This role begins fully onsite for training and transitions to a hybrid schedule. This is a 6+ month contract project with immediate start availability.
About the Role
In this role, you will manage the daily administrative workflow for a Project Manager, ensuring meetings, documents, digital assets, and communications run smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys organizing information, and has strong Microsoft Office and Teams experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day‑to‑day administrative tasks for the Project Manager
• Arrange, schedule, and attend meetings both in person and on Microsoft Teams
• Take detailed meeting notes and prepare minutes for distribution
• Perform extensive Microsoft Teams folder and document management
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Microsoft Copilot to support ongoing projects
• Maintain organized records, files, and shared project information
• Support project communication, documentation, and workflow tracking
• Ensure accuracy, strong attention to detail, and timely follow‑through across all tasks
Required Qualifications
• Previous administrative experience
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn digital tools quickly
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience using Microsoft Teams (required)
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn Microsoft Copilot
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage high‑volume digital documentation and folder structures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite during training (hybrid provided afterward)
Preferred (Not Required)
• Previous experience supporting a Project Manager or project‑focused team
Schedule & Compensation
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $22–$25 per hour, based on experience
• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: 6+ month contract with potential for extension
