Our client, a growing and globally operating organization, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support their accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment while contributing to process improvements and strong financial controls. This is a direct hire role offering $65k and competitive benefits.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

  • Verify appropriate approvals, coding, and supporting documentation prior to payment

  • Support vendor onboarding, setup, and maintenance

  • Assist with month‑end close activities related to accounts payable

  • Review invoice discrepancies and resolve vendor inquiries as needed

  • Assist with process improvements and standardization within the AP function

  • Provide accounting and administrative support to the broader accounting team

  • Assist with Texas sales and use tax documentation and invoice review to ensure proper tax treatment


Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience

  • Experience supporting AP in a multi‑entity environment preferred (not required)

  • NetSuite experience preferred; other ERP exposure acceptable

  • Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Solid understanding of accounts payable fundamentals and accounting best practices

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage routine deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

  • Good organizational and communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and grow within an accounting team



Pay Details: $65,000.00 per year
