AP Specialist
Accounting & Finance
Our client, a growing and globally operating organization, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support their accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment while contributing to process improvements and strong financial controls. This is a direct hire role offering $65k and competitive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Review and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Verify appropriate approvals, coding, and supporting documentation prior to payment
Support vendor onboarding, setup, and maintenance
Assist with month‑end close activities related to accounts payable
Review invoice discrepancies and resolve vendor inquiries as needed
Assist with process improvements and standardization within the AP function
Provide accounting and administrative support to the broader accounting team
Assist with Texas sales and use tax documentation and invoice review to ensure proper tax treatment
Qualifications
3–5 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
Experience supporting AP in a multi‑entity environment preferred (not required)
NetSuite experience preferred; other ERP exposure acceptable
Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Solid understanding of accounts payable fundamentals and accounting best practices
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage routine deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Good organizational and communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow within an accounting team
Pay Details: $65,000.00 per year
