Accounts Payable Clerk – Long‑Term Temporary
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312
Pay Rate: $20–$25 per hour (DOE)
Type: Long‑term temporary
Schedule: Full‑time, fully onsite
Overview:
Seeking a reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to support a high‑volume AP department on a long‑term temporary basis. This role is fully onsite in Fort Lauderdale and ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced accounting environment.
Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and timely
Perform data entry, invoice coding, and matching (PO and non‑PO)
Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries
Assist with weekly check runs and payment processing
Maintain organized AP files and documentation
Support month‑end close tasks related to accounts payable
Work closely with accounting and internal departments to ensure accuracy and compliance
Qualifications:
1+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high‑volume environment
Strong data entry and attention to detail
Familiarity with accounting systems and basic Excel
Ability to work onsite full‑time in Fort Lauderdale
Dependable, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
