Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing accounting team in Louisville, KY. This is a newly created position due to company growth and offers an excellent opportunity to join a successful organization with long-term career potential.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3+ years of accounts receivable or related back-office accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment. Training will be provided on company-specific processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounts receivable functions and processes

• Process and maintain accurate customer account information

• Monitor outstanding balances and assist with payment follow-up

• Research and resolve account discrepancies

• Maintain accurate AR records and supporting documentation

• Manage multiple tasks and processes while meeting deadlines

• Communicate professionally with internal teams and customers

• Follow established accounting procedures and ensure work is completed accurately

• Assist the accounting team with additional AR and administrative needs as required

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related accounting experience

• Previous experience working in a professional office environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent follow-through and organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities simultaneously

• Dependable, proactive, and comfortable working as part of a team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable learning new accounting systems and processes
