Assistant Controller
Accounting & Finance
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and journal entries
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support audits (internal and external) and act as a key point of contact for auditors
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
Review complex accounting transactions and provide technical guidance
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting
Mentor and support accounting staff; assist with training and performance development
Support special projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Prior experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation
Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel (ERP experience preferred)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
