Assistant Managing Clerk (Litigation / Dispute Resolution)
Location: Can sit out of Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco
Salary: $104,000 – $120,000

Schedule: Full-time | Hybrid (3 days in-office)

Our client, a global law firm, is seeking an experienced Assistant Managing Clerk to support its Dispute Resolution practice. This is a hands-on role focused on filings, procedural support, and litigation calendar management across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute state and federal filings (electronic and manual)

  • Review and format legal documents for court compliance

  • Identify and resolve filing issues based on court requirements

  • Calculate deadlines and maintain accurate litigation calendars

  • Monitor dockets and provide ongoing deadline updates

  • Coordinate with court clerks, attorneys, and vendors on filing logistics

  • Support attorney admissions, pro hac vice applications, and filings-related processes

  • Maintain e-filing credentials and filing records

  • Conduct procedural research and support litigation workflow

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of managing clerk or litigation support experience required

  • Strong experience with PACER/ECF and California state e-filing required

  • Experience handling multi-jurisdictional filings; New York experience a plus

  • Solid understanding of court rules, procedures, and deadline calculations

  • Experience managing filings from preparation through submission

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with litigation teams
