About the Role
Join a growing national distributor of emergency medical supplies as part of a newly launched distribution center in Charlotte. This leadership role supports daily warehouse operations, supervises team members, and serves as the backup to the Regional Distribution Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, shipping, and replenishment.
- Supervise and develop warehouse staff while ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity goals are met.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous process improvements.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to oversee operational activities.
- Act as site leader when the Regional Distribution Manager is unavailable.
- 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics leadership experience.
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated distribution environments.
- Strong inventory management, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with WMS platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Willingness to obtain Florida Designated Representative (DR) certification and California pharmaceutical distribution licensure upon hire.
- Ability to pass background screening, fingerprinting, and licensing requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform regular warehouse-related physical activities.
