We are seeking a detail-oriented Audit Analyst. This role supports the evaluation of internal controls, financial processes, and operational compliance to ensure effectiveness, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a foundational understanding of auditing principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of internal audits covering financial, operational, and compliance areas

  • Perform audit testing, walkthroughs, and documentation of internal controls and business processes

  • Prepare clear audit workpapers, findings, and supporting documentation

  • Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

  • Support risk assessments and audit planning activities

  • Identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement

  • Collaborate with process owners to understand workflows and validate audit results

  • Assist with follow-up testing to ensure corrective actions are implemented

  • Support internal and external audit requests as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 1–3+ years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, or related assurance role

  • Understanding of internal controls, auditing standards, and accounting principles

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit documentation tools

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SOX testing or compliance audits

  • ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or similar)

  • CPA, CIA, or progress toward certification

  • Manufacturing, healthcare, or multi-entity environment experience

Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour
