LHH is seeking a skilled Bankruptcy Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to join our clients legal team in Kansas City. Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Salary: $60,000 - $90,000

Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and e-file bankruptcy-related pleadings including proofs of claim, motions, objections, and adversary complaints.
Prepare responses to debtor motions and trustee requests.
Coordinate with clients to gather financial and legal documentation.
Organize and maintain bankruptcy case files and track deadlines.
Conduct asset investigations, including UCC filings and lien searches.
Compile and redact exhibits for hearings and filings.
Monitor e-filing notifications and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Analyze bankruptcy filings and communicate with courts, trustees, and counsel.
Assist attorneys with hearing and trial preparation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local court rules.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or completion of an accredited paralegal program.
Minimum 3 years of experience in bankruptcy or creditors’ rights.
Strong knowledge of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 procedures.
Familiarity with FDCPA, UCC, PACER, and state court systems.
Experience with bankruptcy software (e.g., CaseAware, BestCase).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload across multiple jurisdictions.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
