Job Title: Benefits Coordinator
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Environment: Full-time, onsite
Compensation: $65,000–$70,000 annually (based on experience)

Position Overview

The Benefits Coordinator will support the administration and day-to-day operations of employee benefit programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience. This role will work closely with HR, payroll, and external vendors to manage benefits enrollment, leaves, and related processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, 403(b), LTD, STD, and related offerings

  • Support payroll and benefits coordination to ensure accurate deductions and enrollments

  • Assist employees with benefits questions, enrollment changes, and life events

  • Coordinate and track leaves of absence, including FMLA, PFL, and related programs

  • Maintain benefits data and documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy

  • Liaise with benefits vendors and insurance providers as needed

  • Support audits, reporting, and ongoing process improvements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on benefits experience

  • Experience administering benefits such as 403(b), medical plans, LTD, STD, and payroll coordination

  • Previous exposure to FMLA, PFL, and related leave programs

  • Experience using Paycom is preferred but not required

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work full-time onsite in a fast-paced environment
