Our client, a growing organization based in the Charlotte, NC area, is seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to own the design, administration, and vendor management of its employee benefits programs. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, with strong potential for growth as the People function scales.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day relationships with benefits vendors, including a major national health carrier and a 401(k) administrator

• Partner cross-functionally with regional HR managers to ensure consistent benefits delivery

• Lead plan design for the upcoming year in close collaboration with the CPO

• Oversee leave administration programs

• Drive optimization of the organization's HRIS benefits module, including a major system enhancement launching this fall

What You Bring

• 7+ years of progressive benefits experience; bachelor's degree required

• Demonstrated experience administering self-funded health plans

• Deep subject-matter expertise in benefits specifically — this is not a generalist HR role

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs); HRIS platform experience strongly preferred

• A self-starter mindset with comfort operating autonomously in an open, collaborative culture

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience

• Annual bonus target of 10%

• Unlimited PTO

• Comprehensive benefits package
