LHH is partnering with a client a Benefits Coordinator (with payroll support) for a 6-month assignment. This role provides day-to-day administrative support to the Benefits and Payroll teams, helping ensure accurate payroll processing and provide employee benefits support. The ideal candidate is bilingual (Spanish/English), detail-oriented, and comfortable working with confidential employee data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Benefits and Payroll teams, responding to routine questions and escalating issues as needed.

  • Assist with benefits explanations and enrollment support; help employees understand plan options and deductions.

  • Review payroll deductions for accuracy and partner with Payroll/Benefits to research and resolve discrepancies.

  • Assist with payroll processing tasks including payroll and timecard entry, audits, and data validation.

  • Calculate retirement amounts for pensions and support retirement-related documentation and tracking.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation while handling sensitive information with confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written).

  • 1+ years of experience supporting payroll and/or employee benefits in an HR, Payroll, or Shared Services environment.

  • Comfortable with timekeeping/timecard processes and reviewing payroll deductions.

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to perform accurate calculations (including retirement/pension amounts).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and HRIS/payroll systems; able to learn new systems quickly.

  • Professional communication skills and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred

  • Experience with retirement/pension administration.

  • Prior experience supporting open enrollment or benefits communications.

  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll.

  • Type: Temporary (6 months)

  • Location: Dublin, CA

  • Pay rate: $35-40.00 per hour

  • Start date: ASAP

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
