A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist (Temp to Hire) to support accurate and timely revenue processing across multiple customer segments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring billing integrity, analyzing revenue performance, and partnering cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and data teams to drive efficiency and reduce revenue leakage.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a data-driven environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance both technical and process-oriented responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end billing cycles, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing across residential, commercial, and temporary accounts

  • Analyze billing data to identify discrepancies, prevent revenue leakage, and implement corrective actions

  • Develop and maintain reporting on billing metrics, revenue trends, and performance insights for leadership

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to improve billing processes, data integrity, and system functionality


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in billing, accounting, collections, or a related function

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools

  • Experience working with billing systems, data integrity processes, or ERP platforms (BASIS or similar preferred)

  • Proven ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively across teams

Location: Brownsville, TX - Onsite M-F 8am-5pm (flexible strt time)

Pay: $19/hr - 24/hr. + benefits

Temp to Hire (could possibly go permenant within 60 days)
