LHH is partnering with a well‑established media organization in New York City to hire a Billing Specialist on a temp to perm basis. This role is based in a beautiful Midtown Manhattan office and offers a hybrid schedule, providing a strong balance of in‑office collaboration and flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Handle accounts receivable, including billing, cash application, and collections

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices and maintain billing schedules

  • Run and review AR aging reports; follow up on past‑due balances

  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and misapplied cash

  • Maintain customer account records and assist with month‑end close

  • Prepare and review WIP reports

  • Work with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, and/or collections

  • Previous experience in a media or entertainment environment preferred

  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs

  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, or a similar ERP system

  • Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and follow‑through skills

 

$28-38/hr



Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour
