Billing Specialist

LHH is partnering with a well‑established media organization in New York City to hire a Billing Specialist on a temp to perm basis. This role is based in a beautiful Midtown Manhattan office and offers a hybrid schedule, providing a strong balance of in‑office collaboration and flexibility.

Responsibilities
Handle accounts receivable, including billing, cash application, and collections
Prepare and issue customer invoices and maintain billing schedules
Run and review AR aging reports; follow up on past‑due balances
Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and misapplied cash
Maintain customer account records and assist with month‑end close
Prepare and review WIP reports
Work with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, and/or collections
Previous experience in a media or entertainment environment preferred
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Experience with Oracle, SAP, or a similar ERP system
Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and follow‑through skills
$28-38/hr
Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour
