Bookkeeper

LHH is supporting a growing organization that is seeking a dependable Bookkeeper to support day‑to‑day accounting operations in a contract capacity due to a leave of absence. This position will sit onsite on the north side of Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who is comfortable working independently, managing transactional accounting functions, and supporting leadership with accurate and timely financial information.
Responsibilities
Manage full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Prepare payroll for a small staff
Perform routine account and bank reconciliations to ensure data integrity
Generate recurring and ad‑hoc financial reports for internal review
Support accounting leadership with audits, close activities, and special projects as needed
Requirements
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with AP/AR and reconciliations
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online required, Bill.com preferred
Solid understanding of general ledger processes and basic GAAP principles
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle confidential financial information
Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
