Bookkeeper – Property Management
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $75,000.00-$80,000.00
Our client, a well‑established Property Management company in Downtown Los Angeles, is seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join their team on a direct hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and brings strong experience supporting the accounting operations within the property management industry.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping activities, including AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
Process tenant payments, security deposits, rent rolls, and related property management financials
Maintain general ledger entries and assist with month‑end close
Prepare financial reports for property managers and ownership
Handle vendor management, invoice processing, and payment scheduling
Reconcile CAM charges, property expenses, and maintain property‑specific financial files
Support audits, year‑end reporting, and internal accounting processes
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards
Required Qualifications
Property management accounting experience is required
3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
Proficiency with property management accounting systems (Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, or similar)
Strong understanding of AP/AR cycles, GL entries, and reconciliations
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
