Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to support purchasing and supply chain activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, equipment, and services; managing supplier relationships; and ensuring timely delivery of critical components to support production and operational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to balance quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service performance.

  • Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to support production and operational requirements.

  • Monitor open orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Coordinate with production, planning, warehouse, quality, and finance teams to maintain material availability.

  • Track inventory levels and assist with demand planning and procurement forecasting.

  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, pricing, and contract documentation.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and service expectations.

  • Support supplier performance reviews and vendor compliance initiatives.

  • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of import/export processes, Incoterms, and vendor compliance requirements.

  • Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain operations.

  • Understanding of material planning, inventory control, and forecasting.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and ethical sourcing practices.



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $68,000.00 per year
