Temporary Career Project Manager

Status: Temporary Contract, FTE 40 hr./week, Fully Remote

Contract Duration: ~4 months

Compensation: $30–$35 per hour, DOE

About the Role

A national healthcare association is seeking a Temporary Career Product Manager to support member‑focused programs and resources over a ~4‑month contract. This role centers on structured program/project management, operational content management, community engagement, and quality assurance—serving Physician Associate (PA) professionals and academic program stakeholders. You’ll work cross‑functionally with internal partners, volunteers, and subject‑matter experts and will be supported while still expected to take ownership and run with defined priorities.

Key Requirements

  • Program/Project Management: Proven ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and cross‑functional workflows; keep multiple workstreams moving; maintain continuity in existing programs with minimal ramp‑up.

  • Operational Content Management: Comfortable organizing and maintaining large volumes of content (version control, accuracy, structured processes over creativity).

  • Quality Assurance & Detail: Strong QC mindset—spot gaps, ensure consistency/formatting, validate data, and complete thorough reviews before publication.

  • Industry Background (Preferred): Healthcare experience strongly preferred; association/nonprofit administrative experience also a strong fit.

  • Tools & Systems: Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); able to work within an AMS and support cross‑system testing/QA.

  • Work Style: Structured, reliable, organized, and process‑driven; comfortable with repetitive tasks; proactive communicator who can “run with” clear direction.

  • Availability & Logistics: Fully remote, ~4‑month contract, $30–$35/hour DOE.

Qualifications

  • Experience in product management or project/program management within structured, process‑driven environments.

  • Background in member services, association, or nonprofit administration is highly valued.

  • Healthcare exposure preferred (e.g., working with medical/clinical content, healthcare organizations, or PA communities).

  • Demonstrated strength in content operations, document control, and version management.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and written/verbal communication.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and comfort working in databases/AMS platforms.

Day in the Life

  • Drive project plans across content, community, and program workstreams.

  • Use Outlook, Teams, and an AMS to coordinate updates and track tasks.

  • Perform QA and side‑by‑side checks during system/platform transitions.

  • Review member feedback and translate it into actionable improvements.

  • Collaborate closely with two supportive team leads while independently owning deliverables.
