Cash Receipts Specialist

LHH is assisting with a search for a Cash Receipts Specialist for a Legal Client in Kansas City, MO. This position will work a hybrid schedule with pay starting at $70k annually and going up with experience. Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Cash Receipts or Treasury experience in legal or professional services.

Responsibilities:

  • Process daily client payments with accuracy and timeliness

  • Manage and monitor online banking activity

  • Research and resolve client payment history inquiries

  • Reconcile incoming client cash receipts

  • Support general accounting functions as needed

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in accounting, finance, or legal billing with at least 2-3 years in Treasury or Cash Receipts

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficiency with online banking platforms and accounting software

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
