Seagate Development Group (DBA) is seeking a Civil Construction Estimator to join our heavy civil team in Southwest Florida! 🏗??? Help shape the projects that build our communities. 🌴
🚀 Responsibilities
Prepare accurate, competitive estimates and bid packages
Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and blueprints
Price labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and trucking
Develop budgets, analyze production rates, and optimize methods
Review bid documents to identify risks and scope gaps
Evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals
Collaborate with project managers and field teams
🏗??? Projects
Mass grading & earthwork
Underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drainage)
Roadways & site infrastructure
Drainage & stormwater management
Concrete flatwork, curb & gutter, retaining walls
Commercial & residential site development
??? Requirements
3+ years heavy civil/site development estimating
Agtek or HeavyBid experience required
Strong knowledge of earthwork, grading, and underground utilities
Ability to read plans, blueprints, and bid documents
Engineering background a plus
Microsoft Excel proficiency
Local candidates preferred or already planning to relocate 🌴
