Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist

Job Summary
Seeking an Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist with logistics experience to support billing, collections, and dispute resolution. This role partners closely with credit and billing teams to ensure timely payments and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
Review open invoices to identify past-due balances and short payments
Investigate and resolve billing questions and disputes on a daily basis
Prepare and send weekly customer account statements and track follow-ups
Coordinate with management and credit teams regarding credit limit reviews
Establish and manage customer payment arrangements
Partner with billing to assist with rebills, corrections, and adjustments
Upload and maintain documentation across multiple third-party billing portals
Research discrepancies related to proof of delivery, bills of lading, and repair or service invoices
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of accounts receivable and collections experience within the logistics or transportation industry (required)
Experience with Great Plains or similar accounting systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
