Job Title: Consumer Collections Representative

Pay Range: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable financial services company in Albuquerque to hire a Consumer Collections Representative. This is a fully onsite position with weekday shifts from either 9:00 AM–6:00 PM or 10:00 AM–7:00 PM. The role begins as a contract but offers strong potential to convert to permanent for the right candidate.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented, compliance-driven, and passionate about helping clients resolve financial challenges in a respectful and solution-focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to resolve delinquent accounts professionally and empathetically

  • Negotiate repayment plans in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines

  • Maintain accurate records of all account activity and client interactions

  • Ensure compliance within financial regulations

  • Collaborate with internal departments to support resolution strategies

  • Meet performance goals related to recovery rates, call quality, and client satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in collections, financial services, or customer service

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset

  • Ability to interpret and follow financial policies and compliance standards

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Familiarity with CRM or collections software is a plus

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
