Commercial Contracts Attorney
Location: Remote (Must be based on the U.S. West Coast)
Pay Range: $100 – $150 per hour
Position Type: Contract, Onsite, Part-Time (10 hours per week)
LHH is looking for a highly experienced Commercial Contracts Attorney to support our client’s legal and business teams with complex contract negotiations and drafting. This role is ideal for someone who understands not just the legal language, but the business context behind it.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including: Marketing Services Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Letters of Intent (LOIs), Indemnification clauses, Limitation of liability, Sequential liability, and Non-compete and non-solicitation provisions
Advise internal stakeholders on contract risks and business implications
Ensure contracts align with strategic goals while minimizing legal exposure
Translate complex legal terms into clear, actionable business advice
Stay current on legal trends and regulatory developments
Requirements:
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership
Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial contracts, preferably in-house or corporate
Strong understanding of business operations and commercial strategy
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
