Are you a skilled legal professional with a background in commercial litigation? A boutique law firm in Oakbrook, IL is seeking a Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support the Managing Partner in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
🔍 What You’ll Do
Provide direct support to the Managing Partner on commercial litigation matters
Draft, review, and manage legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery, etc.)
Maintain case files, calendars, and court deadlines
Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Conduct legal research and assist with trial preparation
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all legal documentation
✅ What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in commercial litigation as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Paralegal certification preferred but not required
💵 Compensation
$55,000 – $85,000, based on experience
🎁 Benefits
Benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
