Commercial Litigation Paralegal

LHH is partnering with a respected law firm to identify a Commercial Litigation Paralegal for its Charlotte office, supporting the Business Litigation and Employment practice groups.
Key Responsibilities
Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and employment‑related filings
Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and experts
Review and summarize depositions, personnel files, and discovery materials
Assist with trial preparation and support attorneys during trial, including managing electronic presentations, databases, witnesses, and exhibits
Manage electronic databases related to e‑discovery and employment records
Assist with document productions in litigation and regulatory matters
Conduct internet and legal research related to commercial and employment law matters
Cite check and Shepardize briefs and memoranda
Prepare and manage electronic filings in federal and state courts
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial/business litigation and/or employment law, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience using legal time and billing systems
Large‑case management and trial experience strongly preferred
Experience with e‑discovery software preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with trial presentation software preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities and accommodate urgent requests
Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
Team‑oriented and willing to assist colleagues during peak workload periods
Proficiency with federal and state electronic filing systems

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
