Commercial Construction Superintendent
LHH is working with a client located in Mukwonago, WI, seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent. The client is a full-service commercial general contractor recognized as a 2024 Best Places to Work and Future 50 Award Winner. The role involves overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards
Benefits
Per diem for travel: Minimum $250/day (not taxable), plus company-paid lodging
Bonus: Profit-sharing bonus, known as the “better build bonus,” ranges from $100 to $2,000. Performance-based project bonuses for foremen and superintendents range from $500 to $10,000
ESOP Eligibility: Eligible if working a minimum of 1,000 hours annually. Vesting period starts at the end of year 1 and is fully vested by year 6
What you will Do?
Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, collaborating with project management to determine project needs
Set performance goals and deadlines, exhibiting strong leadership qualities
Plan inspections and coordinate with local jurisdictions on permitting requirements
Self-perform rough and finish carpentry as needed per project
Supervise and delegate tasks to construction crews and other site contractors
Your Skills
Must be a carpenter by trade, able to perform hands-on carpentry work
Own and use carpentry tools effectively
Possess commercial and industrial construction experience
OSHA 30 or similar certifications are beneficial
Reside in SE Wisconsin, southern Wisconsin, or northern Illinois unless open to full-time travel
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
