Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
Salary Range: $55,000 – $73,000 annually

About the Role
LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Compliance Specialist to join our client's team in Portland, OR. This full-time, onsite position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations and managing complex funding layers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs, HUD, and Rural Development (RD) funding.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local affordable housing regulations.
- Manage and maintain documentation for various funding layers including LIHTC, HUD, and RD.
- Conduct internal audits and prepare for external compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with property management and development teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Stay current on changes in housing regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing reports and submissions for regulatory agencies.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in affordable housing compliance, including LIHTC, HUD, and RD programs.
- Strong understanding of housing regulations and funding mechanisms.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
