About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing construction company in Miami. This is a full-time, onsite position offering stability, growth potential, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume invoices, including PO and non-PO invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts.
- Verify vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records of payments and vendor files.
- Assist with month-end closing and reconciliation of AP accounts.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of 3-way matching and job costing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Viewpoint, or similar).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
