Construction Project Manager

The LHH is seeking a Project Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a commercial construction client located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible, business-critical role within a well-established organization known for strong field execution, long-standing customer relationships, and operational reliability. In this role, you will serve as the central coordination point for a fast-paced operation, managing both short-cycle projects and larger anchor initiatives while partnering with executive leadership on long-term growth. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $90,000–$110,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans where the company pays the vast majority of your health care premium costs, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee multiple concurrent commercial construction projects from planning through completion
• Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to support efficient execution
• Coordinate labor resources and field personnel to meet project timelines
• Adapt schedules and priorities in response to changing site conditions and business needs
• Serve as a primary liaison for customers regarding project timelines and progress
• Ensure projects are properly prepared prior to execution
• Maintain regular presence in the field to support operational execution
• Balance short-duration projects with longer-term, multi-phase initiatives
• Monitor project status and address issues impacting schedule or delivery
• Partner with internal teams to align project priorities and execution plans
• Utilize digital tools to distribute project information and track updates
• Maintain clear communication between field operations and office teams
• Identify and resolve scheduling, coordination, and logistical challenges proactively

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management is preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience within the commercial construction industry is required
• Must have experience managing multiple concurrent commercial construction projects
• Strong preference for experience leading electrical, utility, or excavation-related projects
• Must have the ability to coordinate crews, schedules, and equipment across multiple job sites
• Ideal candidates will have familiarity with project scheduling and mobile field technology
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
• Strong customer communication and relationship management skills
• High level of organizational and time management capabilit
