We’re looking for an experienced Contract Accounting Manager to support a finance team during a busy season. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys stepping in, taking ownership quickly, and ensuring accounting operations run smoothly. You’ll oversee daily accounting functions, lead the month-end close process, and provide valuable financial insights to leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger

  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements

  • Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

  • Oversee and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support

  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies

  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership/manager role

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting practices

  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills



Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $89,000.00 per year
