An established and expanding legal team in Tampa is seeking a Contract Attorney with a background in real estate and construction law to assist with a growing volume of work driven by ongoing development in the area. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys hands-on involvement in transactions and development matters and is looking for a flexible, contract-based opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to real estate and construction projects

  • Provide support for residential and commercial real estate transactions, including closings

  • Assist with land use, zoning, and development-related matters

  • Perform legal research and offer practical guidance on real estate and construction issues

  • Work closely with attorneys, clients, and third parties to keep projects on track

  • Conduct due diligence, including title and document review

Qualifications:

  • Active membership in the Florida Bar, in good standing

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate and/or construction law

  • Working knowledge of Florida real estate transactions and development processes

  • Experience handling residential and commercial closings is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail with solid drafting and negotiation abilities

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
